Carmit Bachar believes that despite the ongoing turmoil caused by the coronavirus, there is actually a silver lining to come out of the pandemic.
The Pussycat Dolls star has spoken candidly about the year which saw the world enter a global lockdown with countries instantly closing the borders as they battled the virus.
Carmit, 46, was set to tour the globe with bandmates Nicole Scherzinger, Ashley Roberts, Kimberly Wyatt, and Jessica Sutta, but they were forced to reschedule on more than one occasion.
Speaking about how the year has changed her, she admitted: “All the uncertainty of 2020 forced us to look inward and take inventory of what’s right in front of us.

“We have so much to be grateful for and the silver lining in everything was ironically the stillness and personal growth we needed.”
She added: “Realising that part of my purpose is connecting with others has been powerful, I also love that the facade many people show has been melted and true authenticity is being craved more and more.”
Bachar reunited with the group in 2020 on The X Factor to perform their comeback single, React, and revealed their plans to dominate the globe once again.

The group was initially set to take their tour across the world in October but were forced to push it back to May 2021, with dates across the UK instantly selling out.
“It’s hard to believe our world tour dates were rescheduled a full year from the original ones.
“One thing I know for sure is we can’t wait to get back to where we left off which was prepping the best show Pussycat Dolls has ever done,” she told Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam.

She added: “For The Pussycat Dolls, reuniting after a decade and all the challenges we each overcame individually is our superpower as a group. “
Mum-of-one Carmit joined the iconic girl group in 1995 when they were performing at burlesque shows across America.
Just seven years later, they were catapulted to international stardom thanks to their hit single Don’t Cha.
Despite leaving the group in 2008, Carmit spoke about their reunion earlier this year, saying: “It was time to come back. We have all grown up. We are women, proud of how far we’ve come, in love with our femininity, our bodies and we just want to perform and entertain everyone!”
During the recent lockdown periods, Carmit has kept her social media followers entertained – often taking part in viral video trends on TikTok with her daughter.
