Real Housewives' Lisa Vanderpump devastated as her beloved dog Giggy dies

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Vanderpump has been left devastated after her beloved dog Giggy died.

The little Pomeranian pooch was just as synonymous with the reality show as British star Lisa was.

Taking to Instagram, Lisa, 60, shared a selection of photos with her 2.6million followers, announcing his sad passing.

She wrote: “We are devastated to say that our beloved Giggy has passed away this morning.

“He was truly loved, and we know how many of you loved him too. Our sweet Gigolo was such an incredible, unique dog, but mainly, because of him, we started The Vanderpump Dog Foundation and embarked on our mission to save as many dogs as possible.”

She continued: “He inspired us to start our work in rescue, and for that we will always be grateful. Giggy’s legacy will live on, through every dog Vanderpump Dogs saves.”

Signing off from herself and her husband Ken Todd, she finished: “Thank you all for your support. Rest In Peace Giggy, we love you.”

Lisa, who has her own show Vanderpump Rules, added on Twitter: “It has been an awful year, no doubt about it.

“My little furry man just passed… my heart is broken. So much loss, in so many ways.

“But we will get through this together, have courage in the face of adversity. Love to you all. Goodnight.”

Lisa’s followers and friends quickly sent their well-wishes to the star, filling her comment section with love.

Her husband Tom Schwartz added: “RIP Giggy you were loved by many and brought so much joy to the world.”

Real Housewives boss Andy Cohen said: “Giggy was the First Dog of Bravo. Truly love at first sight for the cutest pup we’d ever seen. RIP beautiful Gigolo.”

Little Giggy had alopecia and was often seen on television in extravagant outfits, like tuxedos, as he joined Lisa almost everywhere she went.

Lisa Vanderpump, born in London, was one of the original stars of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

She starred on the show between 2010 and 2019, but did not return for the 10th season which aired this year.

In 2013 she landed her own spin-off Vanderpump Rules, which focusses on the staff of her restaurants in West Hollywood, SUR, Pump and, more recently, TomTom.
