Sex Pistol Johnny Rotten has revealed he fantasises about being a priest.
The Pretty Vacant and God Save The Queen rocker said: “Do you know one of the jobs I think about? Being a priest.
“If I was a priest, the only good thing about that would be listening to people in the confession box. Because I’d know damn well that’s where people tell the biggest lies.
“I always did, oops. And there you go. Here we are. We’re in a snakes’ paradise.”
The star, real name John Lydon, also says in his new book I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right that he had problems with nuns at school.

He said: “All of us felt like the nuns had personal vendettas against us. They wore very difficult heavy woollen robes that made them sweat and smell something ghastly.
“The essences that came off those nuns are still in my mind. It was dense. I can still smell it.”
This comes after Johnny allegedly declared he didn’t like the thought of religion speaking in Oxford in 2014 about his last book Anger is an Energy: My Life Uncensored.

He reportedly said: “All religion to me is vile and poisonous and idiotic. They spend all their time trying to make you believe things that can’t possibly be true.”
Johnny also opened up about being “visited“ by late bandmate Sid Vicious, aka John Ritchie, who died of a heroin overdose in New York 1979.
He said: “They all come into my dreams, yes.
“It’s like being visited (by Sid). I may be delusional, but it’s a wonderful delusion.”
