Strictly Come Dancing star Ranvir Singh has written an emotional tribute to her dancing partner Giovanni Pernice after being knocked out of the show.
Good Morning Britain reporter Ranvir, 43, took to social media to thank professional dancer Giovanni after missing out on the BBC final following being beaten by Jamie Laing in the dance-off.
She wrote to Giovanni, 30, on Instagram, posting: “Sadly it was not to be – but what a way to go.. on a beautiful Waltz that got a score of 8,9,9 on the semi-final of @bbcstrictly I couldn’t have done anymore.
“My incredible partner – you @pernicegiovann1 tried your best to get me to the final and I’m just disappointed for you. I adore you,” she said alongside a red love heart.

She continued: “My feet are relieved not to be punished anymore and although my heart is a little sad for tonight.
“I am genuinely proud of what we achieved from below zero ability and confidence to start with to feeling magical in the Paso, Foxtrot, the American Smooth, Argentine Tango, Viennese Waltz, and a classic waltz! With a Cha cha and jive squeezed in for good measure.”
She then ended the post by thanking all of her fans and everyone who had voted for her throughout the competition.

Ranvir’s gushing post comes amid swirling rumours that she and Giovanni were having a blossoming romance while working together on the show.
Speculation was sparked as viewers heard Giovanni tell Ranvir that he loved her during their face, and he even kissed her on the cheek after finishing an emotional dance.
They were also seen looking cosy as they left training together last week, with Ranvir looking happy and glowing in a silky jumpsuit.
However, Ranvir has denied any romance between them, telling co-star Piers “there was nothing to report”.
GMB continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV.
