The Masked Singer babe Rita Ora 'hid her vulnerability' in bid to become a superstar

The Masked Singer babe Rita Ora says she deliberately tried to hide her emotions during her rise to the top.

Rita, who is currently working on her second album, has admitted she’s not as hard as her public persona appears.

Speaking frankly the Let You Love Me songstress said: “I’ve done so much partying, and I just felt the time was right to do something different for my birthday.

“So I thought, let’s go into the desert, let’s go for a hike, let’s breathe in some fresh air for a change.”

“People see the workaholic, headstrong, thick-skinned twentysomething but there’s another side to me.

“One that is vulnerable, sensitive and pretty emotional.”

Rita added to Love Magazine: “My music is what it is, and does what it does – thankfully – and I’ve never really had to show that side of myself professionally.

“In fact I have purposely hidden it. But maybe I’m ready. Is this what growing up feels like?”

Rita previously told Daily Star Online how she feared her career was over for good after finding herself locked in a bitter legal battle with her former record label Roc Nation.

Speaking candidly, the pop beauty said: “It was so hard.

“It was very, very lonely. My music was always my blanket. I was stuck.”

The Anywhere songstress added: “I was going through s***.

Rita opened up to Love magazine about hiding her vulnerability

“I definitely had a bit of worry and yeah, I was fearful of my life because, this is my life.

“My music is all I know so for me I was definitely scared.

“I don’t know if depressed is the right word but I was definitely scared.

“But that made this album being released so much more worth while.

“I am happy to have the strength to be able to talk about it and come out from the other side.”
