TOWIE's Shelby Tribble gives birth as Sam Mucklow shares the exciting news

TOWIE star Shelby Tribble has welcomed a baby boy.

Shelby’s other half Sam Mucklow, who has also previously starred on The Only Way Is Essex, shared the joyous news on Instagram.

Addressing his 232,000 followers, Billi Mucklow’s brother said: “Thank you for all the lovely messages wishing myself and Shelby Tribble good luck.

“So many beautiful people out there – honestly overwhelming – thank you all.

“Shelby and our beautiful baby boy are both well and healthy.

“Shelby didn’t have a straightforward labour, so she has been in hospital for 5 days today.”

Gushing over his beautiful partner, Sam continued: “She’s been an absolute soldier.

“Also, thank you to all of the doctors, nurses, midwives in antenatal at Queen’s Hospital Romford.

“So many lovely staff, we are lucky to have the NHS.”

Two days ago the proud-as-punch dad shared a gushing tribute to Shelby on social media.

Sharing a series of snaps of he and Shelby, Sam penned: “I am so proud of this girl @shelbytribble Who would have thought in the next 48 hours we can call ourselves Mum & Dad. I’m so excited to start the next chapter of our lives.”

The post was inundated with excited posts from some of the pair’s former castmates.

Chloe Meadows wrote: “Come on baby boy, we are waiting.”

And Georgia Kousoulou penned: “Can’t wait.”

Footy star Andy Carroll, who is the partner of Sam’s sister Billi, also shared a message, simply posting four blue love hearts.

Shelby and Sam first announced they were expecting back in May.

They shared a snap of themselves grinning as they held up a baby scan photo.

Alongside it, they wrote: “Something fantastic is making us glad, we’re changing our names to Mum and Dad.”
