Actor Hagen Mills dies in alleged attempted murder-suicide

Hagen Mills has died at the age of 29 after reportedly turning a gun on himself, TMZ has reported.

The actor, who played Lucky in Zach Galifianakis US comedy Baskets, reportedly shot himself after trying to murder a woman.

The shooting reportedly left one man dead and another woman injured.

Mills, who also starred on TV programme Swedish Dicks, passed away in the town of Mayfield on Tuesday, according to his mother.

She said her son had been living in Hollywood for some time but still kept a residence in Mayfield.

Mayfield’s Police Chief confirmed to the news outlet that they believed it was an alleged murder-suicide attempt and Mills was the shooter.

It’s been reported that when Mayfield Police arrived on the scene, they found a 34-year-old woman outside the residence named Erica Price, who had gunshot wounds to her arm and chest.

Her relationship to Mills is not known at this stage.

Mills allegedly held Price’s mother and young daughter inside until she got home, shooting her when she got to the residence, before turning the gun on himself.

The woman was reportedly rushed to hospital, but survived the shooting and is in a stable condition.

Price’s mother and daughter were not injured during the incident.

The owner of the Byrn Funeral Home in Mayfield has reportedly been in touch with TMZ and said they will be handling Mills’ service.

Along with his small TV roles, Mills has also appeared in a short Indie film.

The movie, which was called Star Light, was released in February.

His mother told the publication Hagen loved acting, but his true passion was his daughter.
