The Apprentice star Thomas Skinner has revealed he’s been forced to sell his watch due to money struggles amid the coronavirus lockdown.
The business owner, who runs The Fluffy Pillow Company, told fans the sad news on Twitter.
Thomas, who recently announced his girlfriend is pregnant, told his 80,000 followers: “Gutted I had to sell my watch today. Saved up nearly two years for it. But bills must be paid!
“I sympathise so much with so many small businesses at the minute. Keep going guys.
“It’s hard times. But I promise we will get through it. Just survive as best as you can an keep going.”

Fans instantly began replying to the tweet to support the star.
One wrote: “Sorry about your watch, Thomas, but look at it this way ….. we’re all going through an unpleasant time these days with this horrible virus, but you’ve survived it, you have a beautiful partner, a baby on the way, and a lovely home.
“That’s all much better than a watch.”

Thomas, who was on The Apprentice last year, replied: “It certainly is. Can’t wait for the baby!”
Another added: “A fancy watch is materialistic, you have much better things to come, which money can’t ever buy. Keep positive.”
A third chimed in: “Oh mate when things are back on track you’ll get a bigger better watch, Look forward!”

Thomas revealed that girlfriend Sinead Chambers is pregnant back in April.
He wrote online at the time: “BEST NEWS! Just wanted to let you know that Sinéad & I are expecting a little baby! It works.
“We are super excited! Thought I would send a little post to make you smile.
“Hope you all have a great day! We are absolutely over the moon! Thomas & Sinéad #BoshBaby.”
