BGT confirm Aaron and Jasmine as finalists after brutal elimination

Britain’s Got Talent saw dance act Aaron and Jasmine make it through to the final after a jaw-dropping and tense elimination this evening.

Hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly revealed that dancing duo Aaron and Jasmine, dance troupe The Coven and singer Souparnika Nair made it into the top three.

It was down to judges Ashley Banjo, Amanda Holden, David Walliams, and Alesha Dixon to choose the winner.

It was Aaron and Jasmine who were victorious in the judges’ vote, and the duo were thrilled as they embraced after hearing the exciting news.

The fusion dance duo came out on top, beating 10-year-old singer Souparnika Nair, magician Damien O’Brien, school choir Class Dynamix, dog act Amanda and Miracle, singers Honey and Sammy, and spooky dance troupe The Coven.

Aaron and Jasmine impressed all four of the judges with their incredible semi-finals performance.

Amanda gushed: “It was so super sexy. The dancing, the choreography, everything was on point – I loved it, well done!”

Ashley added: “It was so good! I mean, the creative and the way it looked, the outfits, the choice of song, the choreography… I loved it all. It was incredible guys, so be proud of yourselves.”

After the duo won the judges’ vote, an emotional Jasmine said: “We’ve dedicated all of our lives to this and it’s so nice to show it and share it with the world.”

Viewers were thrilled that the dancing pair won a spot in the final, and flooded Twitter with messages of congratulations.

One said: “Congratulations Aaron and Jasmine.”

While another wrote: “YES! Aaron and Jasmine definitely deserved that. They were incredible!”

“I am thrilled for Aaron & Jasmine they deserved this…” added a third viewer.

All of the semi-final acts could still be in with the chance of a place in the final as viewers can vote for their favourite talent on the app.
