Britain’s Got Talent judge Alesha Dixon seems to have her fingers in all the pies at the moment as she prepares for a music comeback, while also hoping to break Hollywood.
The stunning 41-year-old enjoyed her brief stint on America’s Got Talent and she already can’t wait to head back for bigger and better things once lockdown is over.
As the mum-of-two proved to be a hit, appearing alongside Simon Cowell on the US talent show, it really is no wonder that she would be contemplating a return.
And it seems Alesha is also hoping to venture back into the music industry.
Alesha, who made up one third of the 90’s girl group Mis-Teeq, is getting herself ready to unveil some more music and already has two tracks ready to go.
Speaking to The Sun Online, she revealed how her music return had been postponed amid the coronavirus pandemic.
She said: “I was in the middle of writing some great, really authentic songs, really honest.
“Some of them were actually inspired by this whole craziness that’s been going on in the world.
“I’m ready for the next record. I really want to make a heartfelt, honest record that really has something to say.
“I’m excited to get back, so fingers crossed.”
Alesha also spoke about her hopes to crack America following her America’s Got Talent stint.
Speaking to the Mirror, she admitted: “It was a dream of mine to work on American television. Everybody gets to a point where they get itchy feet, they want to try something new and be challenged.
“The UK is quite small. Once you’ve worked on Britain’s Got Talent and Strictly, the pool of shows is quite limited. When I look at America, it seems like there’s more.
“I like to step into an arena that makes me feel afraid – it’s good for me. By stepping out of my comfort zone, great things come.”
She added: “I was really scared in the most amazing way. I can’t wait for lockdown to be over so I can go back.”
