It has been predicted Coronation Street ‘s evil Geoff Metcalfe will be caught through his phone calls to Yasmeen in prison.
Geoff has been desperate to contact his wife Yasmeen in prison as she remains behind bars after he falsely accused her of abusing him.
In Friday night’s episode of the ITV soap, Geoff overheard Yasmeen’s granddaughter Alya talking about how she was expecting a phone call from her gran later in the afternoon.
He then stole her phone from Speed Daal and shocked Yasmeen as he answered her call.
When she asked why he was on the line, Geoff replied: “I have a proposition for you.”
Coronation Street spoilers have revealed that next week Geoff will use the call to try and manipulate Yasmeen into being his wife again.
He grovels, promising to forgive her and drop the charges against her if she agrees to come home and be his wife again.
But Corrie fans think the calls will be his downfall and hopefully help show his true colours to police.
One Twitter user wrote: “Calls from prison are supposed to be recorded, but what’s the betting Geoff’s threats to Yasmeen aren’t acknowledged. #CoronationStreet.”

Another added: “I hope @itvcorrie producers realise all prison calls are recorded so Geoff can be punished for calling Yasmeen. Ugh he really gets under my skin -.- #coronationstreet #corrie.”
Meanwhile a fourth said:So your telling me that Yasmeen just miraculously decided to keep talking to her abuser on a phone call (that is being recorded btw) and just decides to listen to him? Girl…. seriously? #CoronationStreet #Corrie.”
