Carla plagued by fear

Mystery girl Chelsey tells Carla the truth about their history together, revealing they stayed in the same squat while Carla was sleeping rough.
Blackmailing her, Chelsey instructs Carla to hand over £1,000, or else she will tell Peter about her murky past.
In a kind gesture, Carla offers to buy Chelsey breakfast, but things take a dark turn when she brings a guy named Jordan into the pub for a confrontation.
Jordan tells Carla he ran the squat and demands money in exchange for some drugs she allegedly destroyed.
Fearing the worst, Peter finds Carla crying in the backroom and demands to know the truth about Jordan’s identity.
Carla lies about who Jordan truly is, but once the troublesome twosome leaves the pub, she tells Peter the truth about the blackmail.
When Jordan and Chelsey come back to the pub for another brawl, Carla squares up to them and Scott escorts them out of the pub.
Later, Peter turns off a news report about an assault on a local man and woman, hoping Carla hasn’t heard it.
Has Peter committed a dark deed to protect Carla?
Geoff threatens Sally
Making her point loud and clear, Sally refuses to sit with Tim and Geoff in the pub, leaving Tim desolate.
As sneaky as ever, Geoff tells Faye that Sally booted him out of the house, having taken Yasmeen’s (Shelley King) side in the case.
Furious, Faye (Ellie Leach) confronts her dad Tim on the street, demanding to hear the truth behind why he threw Geoff out.
Faye packs a bag and tells Sally and Tim she’s moving in with Geoff as a show of support, leaving Tim stricken.
Tim turns on Sally, while Geoff pretends to feel sympathy for her – though he is secretly thrilled.
Could Geoff tear Sally and Tim apart with his lies?
Meanwhile, Alya Nazir (Sair Khan) tells Imran Habeeb (Charlie de Melo) that they need to get Sally on their side, convinced she has started to doubt Geoff’s intentions.
Daniel flirts with happiness
Daniel Osbourne’s hopes are raised when Adam Barlow (Sam Robertson) offers to spend his birthday in the flat, enjoying a boy’s night with him and Bertie.
When Adam cancels his plans, Daniel spends the night alone, talking to Sinead’s photograph and realising he needs a change in his life.
Later, Adam and Peter urge Daniel to attend a drinks reception in Adam’s workplace, getting him out of the flat.
Though the evening gets off to an awkward start, Daniel is comforted by a fellow partygoer named Nicky, who spends the evening chatting and laughing with him.
Later, Adam is thrilled to see Daniel having a good time, as Nicky convinces him to head for a night on the town.
Could a new romance be brewing?
Adam offers his services
Adam has been turning on the charm in an effort to cheat the truth from Laura, and his plans appear to be working.
When quizzed about Rick, Laura reveals she has no idea where he is, though mentions he owes her maintenance for their daughter Kelly.
Seizing the opportunity, Adam informs her that he’s a solicitor, and slips her a business card.
Later, Gary urges Laura to move away from Weatherfield, advising her that Rick wouldn’t want Kelly living in a dump.
Laura replies that the house is all she can afford if Rick doesn’t hand over more maintenance money – hinting she isn’t leaving anytime soon.
Roy is concerned for David
David Platt’s hopes are raised when Roy Cropper (David Neilson) explains that Shona Ramsey (Julia Goulding) has been assigned a support worker, signalling her discharge from the rehab centre.
When he realises how hopeful David (Jack P Shepherd) has become, Roy begins to grow concerned for him.
Later, Roy reveals Shona will return to Weatherfield in one day, leaving David to root around for some of her belongings.
Dropping them off at the cafe flat, David prepares for her arrival, desperate for Shona’s memory to return.
