Dame Barbara Windsor is reportedly not dealing well with the coronavirus lockdown because she can’t understand why close friends and family aren’t swinging by.
The 82-year-old, who is suffering from Alzheimer’s, is used to people visiting and regularly checking in on her.
Christopher Biggins, who is a close friend of the EastEnders star, said: “She’s a little confused as to what’s going on because no one can visit her.”
He continued telling The Sun: “It’s not because she thinks ‘they don’t like me” because her husband Scott explains to her but she just forgets the explanation and she asks all the time.”

The actress first spoke of her diagnosis in May 2018 after she was diagnosed in 2014.
Since then, husband Scott Mitchell has worked tirelessly to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society, taking part in the London Marathon, and has spoken about his wife’s diagnosis to help raise awareness of the disease.
The 56-year-old previously discussed her condition, explaining it had worsened at the beginning of the year, and that Barbara often gets confused with remembering if she has eaten.

He told the Sunday Mirror that the actress “still has the most wonderful sense of humour” and “we can still make each other laugh”
“Constantly, she does not realise where we are, even in the house. She will ask me, “When are we going home?”
The star regularly thinks that her parents are still alive.
“Barbara will often say to me, ‘Do you know how to get in touch with my mum? I’d like to have a chat with her. I haven’t seen her for ages, I need to see her,”‘ Mitchell said.
“Sometimes she will ask me about people who have already passed away, as if they are still here. That is something she does regularly about her own parents. It is a very difficult one.”
He added that the situation was ‘heartbreaking’, explaining that she forgets short-term things like if she’s had dinner, but remembers things about her childhood and early career.
