Emmerdale fans went into meltdown on social media after Dawn and Ellis went upstairs to “sleep together”.
Ellis is Dawn’s ex Billy’s brother. In a bid to stop Billy finding out she killed Malone, Dawn is trying to push him away.
She decided the best way to make Billy stay away from her is to sleep with his brother.
Fans couldn’t believe what they were seeing as the pair got drunk together while flirting up a storm.
Dawn told him: “I like you Ellis.”
After he said he liked her too, she remarked: “No I really like you”, to which Billy’s brother replied: “I really like you”.

The pair then headed up the stairs, seemingly to do the deed.

While a fan wrote: “Ellis!!! STOP!!! #Emmerdale”
“How on earth could Ellis do that to his own brother when he knows Billy loves her?! #Emmerdale”, penned another.
“Ellis, the snake of a brother… doesn’t realise he’s being used to push Billy to his limit. #Emmerdale”, added another viewer.

The start of the episode saw a hangover Dawn stressed as she remembers she told Billy she still loved him and revealed to him she had a secret.
Dawn’s father, Will Taylor, was desperate for her to keep the secret, and she promised him she would make sure Billy would never find out.
Fans were aghast that Dawn’s way of pushing Billy away for good was to sleep with his brother.

Billy actor Jay Kontzl told Metro.co.uk: “It is an explosion. They have been on and off for years. Billy has tried so hard to rebuild that relationship and he has always been the underdog and resented by his brother.
“For Ellis to do something so drastic just tears that down again – he’s taken away the single thing he’s got, he’d had no love for his brother for that. It overpowers everything – his job, his future.
“He is more focused on Dawn so for that to be taken away by his brother is the worst thing that he could do. I don’t think there’s any way back for them.”
