Gok Wan flirts with Eamonn Holmes making cheeky 'big fried egg' jibe

This Morning’ s Gok Wan turned the heat up in the kitchen on Friday as he admitted to flirting with Eamonn Holmes in front of wife Ruth Langsford.

The fashion guru was back on the ITV daytime show today (September 25) to show off his impressive cooking skills.

Gok showed Eamonn, Ruth and viewers at home how to cook a Friday night feast.

Speaking about what is coming up on the show, Eamonn, 60, said: “With it being Friday I like a bit of a takeaway.

“I like seeing Gok in the kitchen because it always smells so lovely. What’s it going to be?”

Gok, 46, explained: “Well today is going to be such a dish.

“I’m going to do my take on Indonesian fried rice with chicken, prawn and a fried egg on top.”

Eamonn asked: “Well that’s a meal in itself then?”

The fashion expert replied: “Yes it’s a Friday night feast. Can you imagine with your blanket and the open fire and a big fried egg on your lap.”

Eamonn and Ruth laughed off Gok’s cheeky comment

Eamonn’s wife Ruth, 60, added: “He’ll be happy as Larry.”

Gok laughed: “I can’t help it but I always flirt with Eamonn. I don’t know what happens.”

A giggling Ruth said: “I don’t mind though funnily. It’s alright with me.”

Eamonn, 60, added: “It went over my head there” and the trio ended up laughing off Gok’s cheeky comment.

It comes after Eamonn has opened up about an emotional night at home with his with Ruth recently.

The ITV star took to social media to tell his followers that his teenage son Jack has headed off to university.

Eamonn, who shares his youngest son with Ruth, posted a picture of their rescue dog Maggie making sad eyes at the camera on his official Instagram account.

In his heartfelt post, the ITV star said the pooch was not the only one feeling their son’s absence in the household.

Jack, who turned 18 in February, is flying the nest as he begins his further education in another city.

Next to the social media picture, which Eamonn shared with his 685,000 followers, he wrote: “It’s a strange night in our House tonight…”

Going into further details, he added: “Jack has left for Uni and Maggie isn’t the only one feeling his absence.”

Eamonn’s followers took to the comments section to share their thoughts and their own experiences of their children leaving home.
