Holly and Phil flustered over racy This Morning sex position chat

This Morning ‘s Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were red-faced during an interview actor David Morrissey as talk turned to a racy sex act.

The actor was on the ITV show to discuss being in new drama The Singapore Grip, which is a new ITV drama based on JG Farrell’s 1978 novel.

However, the show’s medical expert Dr Zoe Williams explained that The Singapore Grip is also the name of a raunchy sex position.

She explained: “The Singapore Grip is sexual technique which involves the woman using her vaginal muscles to stimulate a man’s penis during intercourse whilst they both remain stationary.”

Phil and Holly were in hysterics as David exclaimed: “Wow, is that in episode three? I haven’t got there yet.”

Holly joked: “It is perfect Sunday night viewing isn’t it.”

“If that doesn’t get our viewing figures up I don’t know what will”, added David, making the presenters laugh even more.

During Tuesday’s episode, Holly was left in hysterics after thinking her co-star Phillip Schofield said a candle smells like “a***”.

The presenters were hosting a game of Spin To Win, and Holly was nearly crying with laughter after Phil’s remark.

The caller won £800 during the game, and Phil was showing her a bag of goodies she could also win.

However, when Phil was describing a This Morning candle in the goodie bag, Holly was sent into meltdown.

Holly doubled over giggling, unable to continue as a confused Phil asked her what was so hilarious.

She managed to quickly tell him: “It doesn’t matter.”
