James Bond's Pierce Brosnan completely unrecognisable in lockdown transformation

Hollywood actor Pierce Brosnan has had a major transformation after being forced to stay indoors due to the coronavirus lockdown.

The James Bond star shared a close-up selfie to Instagram and, if it hadn’t been uploaded to his verified account, it would have been difficult to tell who the person was.

Instead of his usually suave salt and pepper hair and shorter beard, Pierce sported a full beard and long messy locks.

His grey hair hung down by the side of his face while strands also fell over his eyes, long enough to reach his top lip and wiry moustache.

Pierce opened his eyes wide as he took the selfie, clearly shocked at his own transformation.

He wrote in the caption: “Isolation. And this is only week six!”

His 1.3million followers rushed to leave their thoughts, with the post racking up more than 67,000 likes and loads of comments too.

One person commented a string of laughing emojis, and: “Cast away.”

Another joked: “Looks like you were held captive in Korea.”

Their comment was a reference to Bond movie Die Another Day, in which 007 was captured and held in North Korea.

A third person wrote: “Robinson Crusoe is back again.”

Someone else said: “Thank you for putting a smile on our faces at times like such. Love the pic.”

And another added: “OMG! Is this really you?”

Others were complimentary of Pierce’s new look though.

One said: “You can wear anything!”

And another told him: “You still look sharp!”

Recently, Pierce has been sporting a sculpted handlebar moustache and a goatee beard.
