McMafia star James Norton is currently bookies’ favourite to play the role of James Bond when Daniel Craig steps down later this year.
James, 34, is currently leading with odds of 2-1 with bookies, Coral.
He faces competition from The Bodyguard and Rocketman star, Richard Madden who is placed with odds of 3-1 while they both remain the two hotly-anticipated stars to fulfil the role.
Other actors who have been thrown into the speculation include Jack Lowden who sits at 6-1, while the likes of Tom Hiddleston, Michael Fassbender and Tom Hardy are all sitting at 8-1.
Meanwhile, Luther star Idris Elba is currently facing odds of 10-1.

Despite speculation surrounding who will take over the role of the SAS Agent following Craig’s departure, the release of No Time To Die has been pushed back to November due to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping the globe.
No Time To Die will see 007 come out of retirement in Jamaica to assist his ally Felix Leiter in rescuing a scientist from new villain Safin, played by Bohemian Rhapsody star Rami Malek.

During the mission, James Bond is reunited with former colleagues at MI6, his former lover Dr Madeline Swann and arch-nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofield.
New cast members include Captain Marvel star Lashana Lynch as new SAS agent “00” Nomi and Ana de Armas, who plays the role of CIA operative Paloma.
No Time To Die will be released in UK cinemas on November 12th, 2020
