Kate Garraway returned to the Good Morning Britain studio today for her first day back amid husband Derek Draper’s coronavirus battle.
And the presenter admitted ‘a lot had gone wrong’ already as she opened the show with Ben Shephard.
Kate, 53, told viewers that her car had failed to pick her up this morning.
She then said her computer began a two-hour update as soon as she entered the studio.
Ben announced the pair didn’t have any autocue today.
He said: “We haven’t got anyone on autocue, someone as stepped in. Who know’s what we’re going to be saying.”
Despite all this, Kate said she was ‘looking forward to have some fun’ on the show today.
Weather girl Laura Tobin was delighted to see Kate back as she said: “It’s great to see you in real life, it just feels right.”
While Dr Hilary also agreed it was “fabulous” to see Kate back in the studio.
Fans were also delighted to see Kate back on GMB, as many called her “brave”.

Kate’s husband Derek Draper remains fighting for his life in hospital after his coronavirus battle.
He has now awoken from his coma, however doctors have warned Kate he is still ‘critical’.
