Katie Price admits she has 'joined a dating app' to find love during lockdown

Katie Price is said to have downloaded and joined a dating app in a bid to find love during the coronavirus lockdown.

The 41-year-old former glamour model said she’s hoping the app will be a “better and safe way to date” during the Covid-19 pandemic.

She told The Sun Online: “With Covid lockdown what better and safer way to date.”

The publication also reported that Katie is hoping the app could lead to the real thing after a string of bad luck in love.

A source explained: “Katie is delighted to be part of this app launch and hopes that it leads to many finding love and true happiness.

“Katie is happier than ever with her single independent status and is looking forward to her speed date with the competition winner, Katie’s been through a lot but she certainly hasn’t lost her sexy, sassy side – Katie’s is on fire.”

Love at First Swipe is launching a virtual date function so hopefuls have the chance to find love during the lockdown.

Katie is joining Jack Fincham, Pete Wicks and Joshua Ritchie as the celebs give users of the app the chance to win a 5-minute virtual speed date with them.

The mum-of-five also revealed that she is saving all three of her wedding dresses for daughters Princess and Bunny to wear on their special day.

She said: “I still have my wedding dresses, all safely packed away.

“My dream would be to refashion one of them for Princess or Bunny’s big day. It is traditional.”

The media personality continued: “Somehow I don’t think Princess or Bunny would be up for that. Lovely thought, though.”
