Katie Price eyes up third I'm A Celebrity stint with new man Carl Woods

Katie Price is eyeing up a return to I’m A Celebrity with her new man Carl Woods.

The former glamour model, 42, was tipped to star in the upcoming series of the ITV reality show, which has moved locations from Australia to Wales amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Bookmakers Coral placed Katie at 6-4 to star in the latest seres, despite her being in recovery for two broken feet suffered during a horror holiday accident in Turkey.

John Hill from Coral said: “The I’m A Celeb camp is like Katie Price’s second home as she has already had two spells on the show and may be set for her third appearance this year, if this latest move in the betting is anything to go by.”

Despite the bookies’ prediction, Katie’s rep has revealed that the mother of five will not be returning this series.

A spokesperson told The Sun Online: “I wouldn’t place any bets on her appearing this year.

“Katie in her present capacity would not pass the strict heath and safety tests to even qualify for a spot on the show.

“When Katie is fully recovered she’d love to return and take Carl in there with her – the real Tarzan and Jane of the Jungle.”

Katie first appeared on the third series of I’m A Celeb back in 2004, where he met her future husband Peter Andre, who is the father to two of her children.

The reality star then returned for the show’s ninth series in 2009, but walked out.

Speaking about her premature exit, Katie told her YouTube channel viewers: “I was thinking the other day about reality shows what ones I would want to do and stuff like that.

“I did I’m a Celebrity twice and the second time I walked out.

“The silly thing is the last challenge they wanted me to do was easy, so really I should have stayed in but I didn’t.

“I would definitely do I’m A Celebrity again, 100 percent, third time lucky.”

She went on to wonder: “”Would they have me back in the jungle? Oh my God I could cause another stir!”

ITV are reportedly planning on bringing back winners and contestants as the show returns for its 20th series this year.

The Sun claims that bosses intend to “draft in” previous celebs for one-off Bushtucker Trials, which could go down a treat as this year’s instalment will be far from the usual format.

A source told the publication: “The trials team are getting creative.

“They’re using the fact they’re in the UK to their advantage and plan to draft in familiar faces to pop up in trials.

“There’s set to be a few video link surprises as well.”

I’m A Celebrity is expected to return to ITV later this year
