Kim Kardashian 'talking to divorce lawyers' but 'won't go until Kanye gets help'

Reality star Kim Kardashian-West is reportedly meeting divorce lawyers after her husband Kanye West shared wild claims about her family in a social media outburst.

The 42-year-old rapper recently accused his mother-in-law Kris Jenner of being a “white supremacist” and called her “Kris John-Un” in a Twitter rant.

He also claimed in the now-deleted tweet that he’s been trying to divorce his wife for almost two years ever since she met Nicki Minaj’s ex Meek Mill at a hotel.

Wednesday’s Twitter rant also saw the dad of four claim that Michael Jackson was murdered.

Kanye’s erratic behaviour was first seen during an on-stage rant at a campaign rally over the weekend for his US presidential bid.

The musician broke down in tears as he shouted: “I almost killed my daughter” as he revealed he stopped Kim from having an abortion when she was pregnant with their first child, North, back in 2013.

It has been claimed that Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s star Kim, 39, is seeking legal advice after her husband’s recent rampage.

A source told US weekly: “Kim has been meeting with lawyers to explore and talk about divorce.

Another insider close to the star went to explain that she has “wanted to make it work because of their children.”

Although rumours of the end of Kim and Kanye’s six-year marriage, it has been claimed that the businesswomen is standing by her husband until he gets help.

An insider told The Sun: “Kim thinks she’s the only one who can ‘save’ Kanye.

“After everything that’s happened this week she knows she can’t save her marriage, and accepts it was probably over a long time ago.

“But she won’t split with him at his lowest point. She owes it to their kids to stick by his side until he gets help.”

Earlier this week, Kanye, who is in the running to become the US president, claimed that Kim had tried to get him committed to a mental hospital after he revealed at a presidential campaign rally in South Carolina that he and his wife had once contemplated aborting their daughter North .

In the now-deleted tweet, he wrote: “Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughter’s life yesterday.”

An emotional Kim has taken to her official Instagram account this afternoon to address Kanye’s erratic behaviour.

The businesswomen began: “As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand.

“I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health.

“But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health.

“Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor.

“People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgemental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.”

She added: “I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions.

“He is a brilliant but complicated person, on top of the pressures of being an artist and a black man, who experiences the painful loss of his mother and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bipolar disorder.

“Those who are close with Kanye know his heart and understand his words sometimes do not align with his intentions.”

“Living with bipolar disorder does not diminish or invalidate his dreams and his creative ideas, no matter how big or unobtainable they may feel to some.

“This is part of his genius and as we have all witnessed, many of his big dreams have come true. “

She concluded her note by asking for “compassion and empathy” and thanked people for “expressing concern for Kayne’s well being”.

The mum-of-four signed off the statement by writing: “With love and gratitude, Kim Kardashian West.”
