Laura Anderson 'barred' from The Ivy after Covid-19 temperature reading was high

Love Island star Laura Anderson has claimed that she was barred from The Ivy after her and her boyfriend gave temperature readings that were too high.

The 29-year-old reality star, who shot to fame on the ITV show in 2018, took to her Instagram stories to tell her fans she was turned away from the exclusive London spot.

She and her personal trainer partner Tom Brazier had to leave after taking a temperature test after the establishment installed thermal screeners to detect possible Covid-19 symptoms.

Laura told her 1.5m fans on Instagram: “Me and Tom just tried to get in the Ivy and they test your temperature and, obviously, it’s 34C outside so we were sweating when we tried to get there.

“We were too high and we had to leave. We just stood for a bit trying to cool ourselves down and it was just stressing me out. So yeah, good luck everyone trying to go for lunch.”

She continued: “For those worried I had a temperature, it was just because the Ivy were testing the outside temperature which was dumb and it was obviously roasting so my temperature was high, only on the outside not on the inside.”

The star added: “The Covid-19 test wasn’t that bad. Tom was a baby. He was crying and sneezing.”

Laura made headlines last month after she told fans on Instagram she was forced to fend off muggers who attacked her boyfriend in Barcelona.

She seemed shaken as she told fans that she “couldn’t sleep” much last night after the scary ordeal.

Laura revealed how she’d had a “gut feeling they were being watched” as they headed out for a romantic dinner together in the Spanish city.

As they hailed a taxi a man appeared out of nowhere. Had it have not been for brave Laura who seemed to fight off the mugger, things could have been a lot worse.
