Loose Women's Jane Moore slates Harry and Meghan Netflix deal in scathing rant

Loose Women star Jane Moore made some scathing digs at Meghan Markle and Prince Harry today.

The panel were discussing Meghan and Harry’s new Netflix deal on the show today.

And Jane didn’t seem very excited about the news as she made some scathing digs.

Meghan and Harry have signed a huge deal with Netflix to produce a wide variety of content.

It’s thought that the deal could be worth up to £100million for the pair.

The panel compared the deal to a similar Netflix offering to former US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.

Jane said it didn’t really compare to her personally though as she ‘wants to know what the Obamas have to say’.

She added: “I’m not quite there with Harry and Meghan yet.”

Jane also said she hoped the deal would mean Meghan and Harry would be able to pay back the taxpayer money spent on them.

Fellow Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford added: “Meghan always wanted to get back to work, so she got what she wanted.”

However Judi Love, who was also on the panel, said she was looking forward to seeing what Meghan and Harry produce.

She said: “I hope they show us something from minorities not usually heard.”

Meghan and Harry have founded an as-yet unnamed production company as well as signing a multiyear deal with the streaming giants.

The firm will allow the couple to create content spanning documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programmes.

Meghan and Harry said in a statement: “Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.

“As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.”
