Ellie’s post comes after it was revealed that the summer 2020 series of Love Island is cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus.

In a bid to give the show’s devoted fans their dating show fix, ITV bosses are airing season one of Love Island: Australia instead.
The series was filmed back in 2018, so while it may seem that the islanders are breaking social distancing guidelines with the array of intimate moments, they are actually in line with all government guidelines as it was filmed in the past.
