Love Island's Molly-Mae Hague left shaken after men 'heckle' her in the street

Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she was left feeling quite shaken after some random strangers starting shouting things at her in the street on a recent shopping trip.

Filming for her YouTube page, Molly-Mae was walking around Manchester when the incident took place.

After having a browse around the shops, the former Love Island star told fans: “Guys I’m way too embarrassed to vlog out in public. I don’t know what has happened to me.

“My confidence has just gone and I haven’t vlogged in any of the shops because everybody is staring at me. I’m going to have to actually put the camera down guys, I’m sorry!”

She then decided to find a quiet spot outside where she could film some clips for the upcoming video – but she wasn’t alone.

As she began speaking to the camera, she stopped mid-sentence as men started shouting things at her.

Clearly the unknown males recognised who she was and began shouting “Oi” and calling Molly-Mae “blondie”.

Looking uncomfortable, the reality star then says: “Okay guys, there are some men heckling me now.

“This is why I can’t vlog in public guys, listen to this…I’m just going to ignore it, just ignore it. It’s fine.”

The clip then cuts to Molly-Mae sat in the back of a car as she heads to an exercise class.

“As you can see, this is why I do not vlog in public,” she says.

“I don’t know if you heard what those guys were shouting, I don’t think you want to know what those guys were shouting but yeah, it wasn’t great.

“I’ll just wait and vlog when I get home,” she adds.

However, despite the intimidating incident, Molly-Mae had a lot to celebrate this week as she reached one million subscribers to her YouTube channel.

The blonde beauty was in such a good mood that she decided to launch a competition to mark the milestone, offering one lucky fan £8,000 worth of designer goods she’d bought with her own money.

Molly-Mae first found fame when she appeared on Love Island in 2019 where she met her boyfriend Tommy Fury.
