Top Gear presenter Paddy McGuinness has hit out at people buying vast amounts of toilet rolls as the coronavirus pandemic continues to sweep across the world.
McGuinness, 46, was fuming after witnessing scenes and was heading to a supermarket worried that the shelves would be bare.
The former Take Me Out Presenter took to his Instagram page to say: “I’m about to risk my first big shop since all the madness happened.
“I hope there’s stuff on the shelves after all the absolute tools stripped everything all the pensioners and everyone else who couldn’t get to the supermarkets.”

Christine McGuinness’s husband went on to point out the confusing idea behind stockpiling on toilet roll and other household items such as pasta.
He joked: “Well, that pasta you bought and that lifetime supply of toilet roll?
“After eating all that pasta, you won’t be s***ting for a month so the toilet roll is a waste of time.”

After visiting his local supermarket, his fears had been confirmed and he went on to again blast people who are still panic buying.
Paddy added: “Toilet rolls and kitchen rolls shelves – still totally empty.
“Food and drink – the very stuff we need to survive – tons of it! No need to panic, there’s plenty on the shelves!”
