Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan told viewers that any mention of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would be banned from the ITV show.
As he read his autocue, he realised the next news bulletin were about the couple, but refused to read it out and went straight to a reporter.
He told viewers, while discussing the morning headlines: “There was a bit about Meghan and Harry, but I can’t be bothered to read it … I can’t be a**ed … sit in your mansion and shut up!”
Susanna asked: “Well stop talking about them then.”
Piers hit back: “Stop defending them! I’m going to ban them from being mentioned on the show, they can go and sit in their palace and be annoying.”
He ranted: “Meanwhile in Hollywood there’s some bloke called Harry…
“I’m comparing and contrasting the class of Prince Phillip, which has been mirrored by the class of the Queen whose birthday is today.’
Holding up a picture of Harry and Meghan, he added: “These whiny little brats in Hollywood, banning newspapers, leaking details in court of all their texts to her father who is in his 70s, has underlying health conditions probably living in fear of Covid-19.
“But they think right now is a good time to go ahead with legal action, drag all the mud out – not a single part of them thought, this is not a good time.”
And GMB viewers flocked to have their say, with many agreeing, as one wrote on Twitter: “Well done, absolutely sick to death of hearing about Harry and Meghan! No one cares!”
“I love it when somebody mentions Meghan & Harry to Piers Morgan,” added a second.
Piers posted on Twitter yesterday: “Interesting to see so many previously diehard ‘LEAVE THESE SAINTS ALONE!’ Meghan/Harry fans turning on them over their latest absurd me-me-me antics.
“The world’s changed and people have zero tolerance for whiny rich privileged pampered celebrities during this #Coronavirus crisis.”
Fans took to the post to agree with Piers as they shared their thoughts on the former royal couple.

One said: “Got to be honest I was fully behind Harry and Meghan but it’s starting to grate a bit now.”
Another replied: “I’m just amazed how totally tone-deaf they are.”
A third commented: “I agree with him. Get a feel for the room, guys!”
GMB continues tomorrow at 6am on ITV.
