Toronto Rapper Houdini was shot and killed in a downtown shooting at King Street W and Peters street on Wednesday 26 May.
According to CP24 News in Toronto, Houdini and two others were shot after gunfire erupted in broad daylight outside a hotel in Toronto’s Entertainment District.
Several calls were made to the police concerning the sound of gunfire King Street and Blue Jays Way, and flooded after 4pm local time.
Officers quickly arrived at the scene and discovered a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.
The two other victims were located soon after.

Toronto Police stated all three people were “rushed” to the hospital with gunshot wounds including Houdini and a 15-year-old boy, who were transported in critical condition, while a 27-year-old woman was transported in serious condition.
Houdini passed away from his injuries.
The police report on the incident claimed there were around 6-10 shots fired and reported the suspects were waiting in the car for 40 minutes before the shooting took place.

Houdini’s most recent release was his single titled VV’s – a collaboration with 6ixbuzz and fellow Toronto rapper KILLY.
Following his death, members of the hip hop community paid tribute to Houdini on social media.
Meek Mill posted a snap of Houdini, writing: “I rocked wid Youngbull vibe as a person RIP! Prayers to his side!”
Killy wrote: “Rest in paradise brother. Young legend! This one hit real close. Greatness breeds jealousy prayers up.”
Houdini’s passing is the fourth murder of an aspiring rapper this month.
Brooklyn rappers Nick Blixky and KL Balla were fatally shot in separate incidents earlier this month, while Kiing Shooter, who was signed to Nas and Jungle’s Mass Appeal offshoot Street Dream Records, was shot and killed on May 5.
