Scarlett Moffatt and Diana Vickers lead all-star cast of Celebrity Karaoke Club

Gogglebox star turned I’m A Celebrity champion Scarlett Moffatt is set to return to our screens later this year as part of brand-new ITV2 singing competition with a massive twist.

Celebrity Karaoke Club is a six-part music entertainment show, which will see stars show off their vocal talents in the autumn.

However, audiences will see a cheeky twist in the show as the famous faces will also act as judges as well as competitors and will vote a star out each week.

In between the rounds the celebs can grab a cocktail at the bar, and have a gossip with their co-stars, during which they can form alliances against their co-stars.

The competition will be tougher as some of the stars have extensive backgrounds in the musical world while others are total vocal novices.

Reality star Scarlett, 29, will be joined by former TOWIE babe Jess Wright, who has more than enough stage experience as she enjoyed chart success herself, first with pop band Lola and then solo.

Mark Wright’s sister, 34, signed a three-single deal in 2012 with record label All Around The World and went to Marbella to film the music video for her debut single Dance All Night.

The song peaked at No36 on the UK Singles Chart, while her second single Dominoes featuring Mann was released in 2013, and entered the UK Official Dance Chart at No36.

X Factor star Diana Vickers is also retuning to our screens to show off her stunning vocals.

The blonde bombshell, 29, found fame on the ITV talent show back in 2008 and came fourth place.

Other stars taking part in Celebrity Karaoke Club include Loose Women favourite Judi Love, comedian Joel Dommett, drag queen Courtney Act, radio presenter Roman Kemp and Ibiza Weekender’s David Potts.

Radio 1 presenter Melvin Odoom, impressionist Luke Kempner, Drag Race’s Baga Chipz, singer-songwriter Tallia Storm and Love Island’s Samira Mighty are also in the star-studded line-up.

Paul Mortimer, ITV’s Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions, said: “We’re thrilled about the arrival of Celebrity Karaoke Club on ITV2.

“The cast of celebs will be well-known to ITV2’s audience, though not necessarily for their singing!

“However, they are sure to entertain viewers with some impressive and hilarious performances this autumn, as they battle it out to be crowned the ultimate karaoke champion.”

Will Macdonald, Monkey’s Creative Director and Executive Producer, commented: “Ludicrous times demand ludicrous entertainment, and that’s what this show delivers thanks to a righteous collective of celebrities, a free bar and the world’s best karaoke machine.

“What could possibly go wrong? As Starship nearly said: Nothing’s Gonna Stop Them Now.”
