Legendary queen of rock and roll Tina Turner, 80, has come out of retirement and returned to the studio for a collaboration with international hitmaker, Kygo, for a remix of her iconic track What’s Love Got To Do With It.
What’s Love Got To Do With It was originally released in 1984, topping the US charts.
Over a decade after her last public performance and single release, the musical icon has been snapped posing alongside the Norweigan producer in a stunning new promotional picture.
Taking to social media, Kygo shared the exciting news alongside the single cover.
Tweeting to his 473,800 followers, the star penned: “Can’t believe I’m releasing a collab with @LoveTinaTurner this Friday!
“‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ is one of my all-time favourite songs, and it feels surreal to get the opportunity to work with such a legendary artist! Can’t wait for you all to hear it.”

The mum-of-four looked every inch the superstar as she rocked a full face of makeup, complimenting her complexion as she opted for a statement red lipstick.
Her signature brunette locks oozed volume as she sported loose waves, cascading past her shoulders.
Turner, who was born Anna Mae Bullock, last released a studio album in 1999 titled Twenty Four Seven.

Since she hung up her boots and tiny dresses, a spokesperson for Tina has said that she is “happily retired”.
Tina, who is now a Swiss-national told the New York Times last year that she had no plans of venturing back into music.
“I don’t sing. I don’t dance. I don’t dress up,” she confessed.
Kygo whose real name is Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll, made history last year when he released a remix of Whitney Houston’s cover of Higher Love.
The track which went on to give Whitney her first posthumous hit on the Billboard Hot 100 was 30 years in the making after originally being recorded in 1990.
