The Wanted crashed onto the scene in 2010 with their debut single All Time Low, hitting No1 and spending a whopping 17 weeks in the UK top 40.
Their debut album peaked at No4 in the UK album chart and has been certified Platinum since then.
The lads – Tom Parker, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness and Nathan Sykes – went on to release three studio albums and 13 singles between 2010 and 2014.
Then, in January 2014, the band announced they would be going on hiatus to pursue solo projects.
Now, in 2020, there are reports that, following news that Tom has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour, Max is leading talks to get the band back together, according to The Sun.
But what has each member been up to since The Wanted went on hiatus?

Former footballer Max was probably the most well known member of The Wanted thanks to his romances with Michelle Keegan and Lindsay Lohan.
After the band went on hiatus, the Manchester lad signed with Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles to try and break into acting.
And a year later he popped up in the sixth season of Glee, playing a bully and lead vocalist of Vocal Adrenaline called Clint.

Max also signed as a solo artist with The Wanted’s manager Scooter Braun, who also manages the likes of Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.
He went on to release six solo singles, starting with Barcelona in 2018, as well as three in 2020 – That’s Not Me, Hate You, and Paint By Numbers.
Most recently, Max was announced to be taking part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing, following in the footsteps of his bandmate Jay McGuiness.
He will compete against the likes of Bill Bailey, Jamie Laing, Maisie Smith and Ranvir Singh for the coveted Glitterball trophy.

Dublin boy Siva hasn’t been as active on the showbiz circuit as his pals since The Wanted went on hiatus in 2014.
In 2015, he married his girlfriend Nareesha McCaffrey after getting engaged in 2013.
Siva found success as a model, being signed to the likes of Storm and Next Model Management, featuring in magazines including British Vogue and Esquire.
And, according to The New York Times, Siva invested in the Muse, a career search tool and moved to Los Angeles to find out more about new companies.

He has worked with charities including the Tourette Syndrome Association and Girl2B, an organisation in India that provides safety for homeless girls.
In 2017, he teamed up with his bandmate Jay McGuiness on Celebrity Hunted and they won the series.
But music has always been on his mind, as he wrote You’re Not Alone for the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest participants Joe and Jake.
He also released his debut solo single Breathe In in September 2019.

Jay has always had music and performance in his life, as he attended the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama, which is where he learned about auditions for The Wanted.
A year after The Wanted went on hiatus, the Nottinghamshire lad joined the cast of Strictly Come Dancing, partnering with Aliona Vilani.
He consistently received high scores and went on to win the series, beating soap stars Georgia May Foote and Kellie Bright in the finale.
Jay stuck with reality TV for a while as he joined the 2017 cast of Celebrity Hunted with his bandmate Siva Kaneswaran, and they went on to win the series.
Since then, Jay has become a regular in London’s West End.
He has teamed up with Girls Aloud babe Kimberley Walsh a number of times, in Big The Musical between 2016 and 2017, and, this year, Sleepless: A Musical Romance, which is based on Sleepless in Seattle.

Bolton boy Tom has been back in the news this week, but sadly because he has announced he has been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.
The 32-year-old has wanted a music career since his teens, as he learned to play the guitar at 16 and went on to audition for The X Factor, but did not make it past the first round.
He dropped out of university to go after his music career and joined a Take That tribute band before landing a spot in The Wanted.

Since the group went on hiatus, Tom has worked on a solo career, collaborating with N-Dubz’s Fazer on the track Fireflies, and his debut solo track Undiscovered in 2014.
Like a few of his former Wanted bandmates, Tom has enjoyed time on reality television.
He took part in Celebrity Masterchef in 2015 and replaced Tina Hobley on The Jump in 2016 after she got an injury.
And, like Jay, he moved into musicals and toured the UK as Danny Zuko in Grease.

In his personal life, Tom married girlfriend Kelsey Hardwick in 2018.
The couple welcomed their first child, a girl called Aurelia, in 2019, and are expecting their second, a son, this November.
Devastatingly, Tom revealed in an OK! magazine interview this week that he had been diagnosed with an inoperable stage 4 glioblastoma, with doctors telling him it was the “worst case scenario”.

Youngest member of the group Nathan was forced to miss some of The Wanted’s promotions in 2013 after having surgery on his vocal cords.
He had to go through speech and vocal therapy to allow him to get back to his full vocal range without causing any more damage to it.
A year after The Wanted went on hiatus, Nathan debuted as a soloist with More Than You’ll Ever Know before going on a solo tour in the UK.

His first official debut single Kiss Me Quick was released in July 2015 and it topped the US Dance chart.
Nathan is probably best known as one of Ariana Grande’s exes, with the singers dating for a short time between August and December in 2013.
He appeared on her song Almost Is Never Enough from her album Yours Truly in 2013.
They reunited in 2015, though not for romantic reasons, instead for his song Over and Over Again, which peaked at No8 in the UK and at No1 on the US Dance chart.
A year later, Nathan released his album Unfinished Business, which peaked just outside the Top 10 at No11 in the UK.
He supported Little Mix on their 2016 tour and Alessia Cara in the same year.
It seems he will release his second album this year, as his Instagram bio reads: “Unfinished Business was just the beginning… 2020 is the year #NS2.”
