80s glamour models now – huge £15m net worth, prison stint and steamy Take That fling

They were the stunning superstars of the 1980s, but where are the lines oficons Linda Lusardi and Sam Fox up to now?

The beauties earned mega-money in the decade that style forgot, for their gorgeous good-looks generated a huge fanbase.

After finding such success through Page 3, what did they do next after their glamour model heyday?

Some of them continued modelling, while others changed to acting, had a successful pop career, or left the industry entirely.

The path hasn’t been smooth for all of them.

Here’s a look at what some of the most famous glamour models from the 1980s are up to today.

Linda Lusardi

One of the ultimate glamour girls, Linda has managed to find great success after she left Page 3 behind.

Despite her fame, Linda has some regrets and says she’d tell her younger self to try acting instead of glamour modelling.

She said: “I was young and enjoying life and it was a very different time. It was everywhere. It was a great career and I am where I am now because of it.

“I found acting late in life, though, and I may have made a career from it if I’d come to it earlier.”

Linda was recently voted the nation’s all-time favourite glamour girl.

Now 63, Linda joined the cast of Emmerdale in 2007, but left in 2008.

She’s also appeared on The Bill, Hollyoaks and Brookside.

Last year she took part in The Real Full Monty On Ice for charity and also regularly appears in festive pantomimes.

She also appeared on The Krypton Factor and Bullseye.

But it hasn’t all been roses for Linda, as both she and her husband Sam both fell seriously ill with Covid last year, with both of them fighting for their lives.

Linda, who was put on oxygen and was nearly intubated while her husband contracted pneumonia, later said: “It’s been horrible for everybody.

“My kids have had therapy (due to) the trauma of nearly losing both of us. Then we lost our dog.”

Unfortunately for Tracy, it turned out to be too good to be true and she was arrested for money laundering and was sentenced to spend two years in Holloway prison.
