A Place in the Sun will welcome a brand-new presenter to its line-up in January 2022.
Fans of the Channel 4 show will be used to seeing the likes of Laura Hamilton, Jasmine Harman and Danni Menzies taking the helm to show eager property buyers their potential new homes.
But now a major shake-up is in store for the next year, as TV presenter Craig Rowe has signed up for the programme.
Craig has a big passion for property, and has been involved in buying, renovating and selling properties both at home in the UK and abroad. He’s even helped his parents and friends to find their dream home.
Speaking about joining the show, Craig gushed: “I’m so delighted to become part of the ‘A Place in the Sun’ presenter team!
“Having loved travel since my teens and then nurturing a passion for property since buying my first flat in London 20 years ago, it’s my dream job!
“As a real ‘people person’ I’m loving finding dream homes for my house hunters and get such a buzz the moment it all comes together and they can start their new lives in the sun.”
His first appearance on the programme in January next year will see him travel to the coastal town of Denia in Spain in order to help newlyweds Alison and Gabriel find their perfect holiday home.
Craig is no stranger to TV presenting, having appeared on channels including QVC and CBBC, as well as programmes like ITV’s This Morning as the ‘gadget guru’.
He also has experience working behind the camera, working in production for the BBC for seven years and helping the network to train new recruits.
His travel resumé, meanwhile, is just as impressive. Aged just 18 he signed up to holiday company Travelsphere as their youngest ever tour manager, and has language skills in French, German and Spanish.
In his 30s, Craig took the journey of a lifetime to travel to Australia, Thailand, the USA and his ‘fatherland’ country of Jamaica.
As well as Craig, fans can also expect to see a host of familiar faces in the line-up, as all the usual presenters will be back.
All new episodes of A Place in the Sun will air throughout January 2022 at 3pm on Channel 4.
