Abbey Clancy lost so much hair during her pregnancies she felt bald.
The model mum-of-four, 35, also blames having kids for giving her a facial pigmentation condition that led her to fear leaving the house without makeup.
Abbey – who has daughters Sophia Ruby, 10, and Liberty Rose, five, as well as boys Johnny, three and Jack, one, with her ex-footballer husband Peter Crouch, 40 – said: “I was so ill during pregnancy, and my skin was so reactive. It was allergic to everything, even fabrics and washing powder. I also had a lot of hair loss.
“It grows back, but when clumps of hair fall out when you’re washing it, it’s terrifying.

“I had three kids in four years, so I felt like I had no hair left by the end. It’s another thing that was damaging to my confidence.
“It’s scary for any woman going through that,” she added to OK! magazine.
The former Britain’s Next Top Model star explained she has been having issues with her skin pigmentation since her first pregnancy with Sophia Ruby 10 years ago.

She said she would pile on makeup to hide it and was always on the look out for specialist products to help her out.
Although her taste in the way she looks has dramatically changed since her younger days.
The Liverpudlian beauty spoke of her old “luminous orange fake tan” days and her “Biro-thin eyebrows” from her wedding day.
“It looked like I had drawn them on,” she laughed.

Of course, when Abbey and sports star Peter got married in 2011, pruned eyebrows were all the rage.
Nowadays, she goes for a more refined, sculpted brow and glamorous makeup look, and while she’s still bronzed, she couldn’t be described as “orange”.
