Dancing On Ice star Liberty Poole has expressed that she is willing to perform the dreaded headbanger in the upcoming series as she is comfortable with taking risks.
Although previous DOI stars have shared their disdain for being spun drastically while in the ice rink, Liberty, 21, said she would not refuse the opportunity.
Talking exclusively to Daily Star in association with Skinny Tan, the former Love Islander said that she is very competitive and wants to makes sure she does the show “justice”.
When asked if she would do the infamous headbanger, she said: “Yeah definitely!
“I’m an adrenaline junkie so I love rollercoasters and all them kind of things. So I think when you skate fast on the ice, you get a bit of an adrenaline rush. So I am an adrenaline junkie.”
She added: “With ice skating I do think you have to take risks.”
Discussing whether she has a competitive steak, Liberty agreed that she definitely does but in a “sportsmanship” way.
“I love doing well at things,” she remarked.
“I think if you’ve seen me on sports day on Love Island where I dived into the bean bags to make sure I won, then that shows you how competitive I am.”
During the last series of Dancing On Ice, several stars were forced to bow out of the competition early due to injuries received on the ice, however Liberty assured that there is extra protocols in place.
She explained: “You have to make sure you warm up before you get on the ice and there is also a physiotherapist as well which, if you got any injuries, then you go to her so there are protocols in place to ensure your safety.”
Since her time on Love Island, Liberty has been booked and busy and has teamed up with popular tanning brand, Skinny Tan, to become their new brand ambassador.
Talking more about the product, the TV personality said: “I’ve used Skinny Tan for years and what I love most about the brand is not just offering you fake tan.
“There are so many other benefits to it. So each different product, there may be moisturising skin benefits, anti-ageing benefits and also a thing I’ve struggled with in the past with other tans is maybe there is green tints to it.”
She added: “Obviously there is nothing wrong with being pale at all.
“But I don’t like to use sunbeds because of the health scares you can get with, it can be quite dangerous,” she admitted.
She continued: “So if I wanted a healthy tan or natural glow or like I’ve been on holiday, I would use a fake tan and that’s why I love skinny tan so much.”
Liberty Poole is Skinny Tan’s new brand ambassador, working with the brand to promote body confidence with tanning products which are filled with skin-loving ingredients to provide a flawless, streak-free tan.
