David Beckham and family granted restraining order on woman accused of stalking

A woman has been banned from going near David Beckham or his family after being accused of stalking them.

Sharon Bell, 58, from Watford, allegedly harassed David, Victoria and their children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, and has even claimed to be the mother of one of the siblings.

Bell is now prohibited from approaching or messaging any member of the family, or being within 500m of their £6million Cotswolds mansion, their West London house, or daughter Harper’s school, under the terms of an interim stalking order, according to the Daily Mail.

Scotland Yard applied for the order after Bell was accused of carrying out “acts associated with stalking,” and a “campaign of harassment,” stating it was “necessary to protect” the Beckhams.

Bell allegedly initially contacted the family in 2016 when she claimed she was the mother of one of the children.

Since then her contact escalated and between July to November this year she is accused of attending the Beckhams’ homes, sending them letters and waiting outside a school attended by one of the children.

The interim order is valid for five months until May 2022 at which point a court hearing will determine if a permanent stalking protection order is necessary.

Bell is currently banned from: Contacting any member of the Beckham family – David, Victoria, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz or Harper.

Contacting includes (but is not limited to) letters, telephone, email, text or messages on social media, plus physically approaching, following or waiting for any member of the Beckham family.

She is also prohibited from going within 500 metres of the Beckhams’ family home addresses in London and Oxfordshire or attending any place where the Beckhams are residing permanently or temporarily without written permission from a detective in the Met Police, and going within 500m of Harper Beckham’s primary school.

If any of the terms of the order are broken Ms Bell could end up in jail.
