Nickelodeon star Drake Bell has reportedly been charged with “disseminating matter harmful to juveniles” and “attempting endanger children” and has pleaded “not guilty”.
According to court documents, Cleveland Police arrested Bell, 34, who pleaded not guilty in Cuyahoga County Court on June 3.
Bell, whose real name is Jared Drake Bell, was freed on a $2,500 personal bond ordering him to have no contact with his alleged victim.
The incident allegedly occurred in December 2017 and he is set to return to court on June 23.
According to Fox 8 in Cleveland, Bell allegedly engaged in an inappropriate chat with a minor that “at times, was sexual in nature.”
The alleged incident reportedly happened on December 1, 2017, the same day Bell was scheduled to perform at Cleveland club The Odeon.
Bell’s mugshot taken at Cuyahoga County Jail is dated Thursday, June 3, just before 3pm.
He was asked to submit DNA, a standard practice in Ohio.
Daily Star has contacted a representative for Bell for comment.
In 2015, Bell was arrested for a DUI with a bail set at $20,000. In that case, he pleaded no contest to a misdemeanour and spent four days in jail.
Bell, also known as Drake Campana, appeared in Drake & Josh from 2004 until 2007, which saw him and his onscreen brother Josh Peck play teens trying to survive high school and learning to get along.
Since Drake & Josh ended in 2007, Bell has done voice acting and starred in various short films.
He also voiced Timmy Turner in three television movies of the Nickelodeon cartoon Fairly Odd Parents.
Bell was stopped by cops back in 2015 for allegedly speeding and driving erratically in California.
The actor reportedly failed a sobriety test that cops gave him.

Bell has also released three studio albums since 2005.
At the end of 2005, he was involved in a serious car crash in Los Angeles, leaving him with injuries to his neck and his jaw.
The star needed surgery after the smash.
In 2006, he reached #81 on the Billboard 200 with his second album It’s Only Time, selling 23,000 copies in the first week.
