Dua Lipa made sure all eyes were on her on Sunday night as she perfromed at Sir Elton John’s Oscars bash.
The We’re Done songstress oozed Hollywood glamour as he attended the British music legend’s party to celebrate the 2021 Academy Awards.
Slipping into a figure hugging silver sequinned, Dua teased her trim frame as she posed for waiting camera.
Dazzling in the flashes, the That Kind Of Woman songstress pouted up a storm.
Thanks to her bold gown featuring cut out sheer panels, Dua was able to flashed the flesh while keeping her modesty firmly intact.
Not content with one look, later on in the evening she switched into a black velvet floor length number.
Taking to the stage, Dua performed Levitating, Pretty Please, Hallucinate and Don’t Start Now during the intimate VIP event.
Later on in the evening Elton joined her on the piano to duet on his hits Bennie and the Jets and her single Love Again.
Beaming with pride, Dua cheekily blew a kiss to the music icon before gushing: “What a dream and an honour.
“Elton, thank you so much for having me!”
All proceeds raised during the evening went towards Sir Elton’s AIDS Foundation.
Talking about the cause which is close to both his and Elton’s heart, David Furnish who is Chairman of the Elton John AIDS Foundation and the singer’s husband said: “The young people affected by HIV today have already lost parents, grandparents, uncles, aunts to HIV over the past decade.
“Now they face the twin threats of HIV and COVID-19 for their generation. We need to prevent this catastrophe so that young people are equipped to deal with the huge challenges that lie ahead.”
Despite being one of the most diverse range of winners in the Academy’s history, the Oscars were hit with backlash over their Best Actor gong.
In a switch up, the night ended with the award rather than the usual Best Picture award.
Late actor Chadwick Boseman was expected to win the award for his role in Black Panther as the hot favourite, however, British actor Anthony Hopkins ended up taking home the gong.
Awkwardly, the star didn’t appear during the evening.
The 83-year-old played the role of an ageing man suffering with dementia.
While Hopkins’ role has received universal critical acclaim, film fans were unable to hide their shock Boseman missed out on social media.
