EastEnders' Natalie Evans actress looks totally different 17 years after exit

Eastenders actress Lucy Speed is better known for her role on the BBC soap as Natalie Evans (originally Price).

The 44-year-old rocketed to fame back in 1994 as she took to screens as best pal to loud-mouthed Bianca Jackson – played by Patsy Palmer.

It’s been an astounding 27-years since Lucy first rocked up on Albert Square and she now looks totally different to how fans would have remembered her.

Lucy’s Instagram account is brimming with adorable family fun snaps, alongside her acting husband Spencer Austin and children – Kitty Bina and Grace Hayler.

Apart from being a busy mum-of-two who enjoys exploring the great outdoors, she is looking as glam as ever.

In one snap that was shared to her social media platform, the former soap star got cosy with a chum boasting the most radiant red lipstick and fluttery lashes.

Captioning the moment, she penned: “Red lips, witty quips. Sod the view of the oldest road in Kent.”

Another image saw Lucy ditch every bit of makeup as she showed off her youthful good looks.

Beaming a smile to camera while promoting a moisturising product, the actress was almost unrecognisable after opting for a chic on-trend choppy fringe.

The TV star has endured quite the successful career in the spotlight over the years, initially taking centre stage on Men Behaving Badly in 1998 and The Bill between 2007 and 2010.

In recent times, Lucy has landed roles in Call the Midwife, Marcella, Doctors, Jamie Johnson and Silent Witness.

During her time on Eastenders, she quickly became a household favourite alongside her best chum Bianca Jackson.

However, their friendship wouldn’t stand the test of time after Lucy’s character Natalie struck up a romantic relationship with Bianca’s husband Ricky Butcher (Sid Owen).

With the scandleous romance eventually unfolding, Natalie’s character fled Walford leaving the memories of her fling with Ricky behind her.

At the time, producers had offered to extend Lucy’s contract but she decided to leave the serial any way in 1995.

That wasn’t the last fans would see of Natalie Evans because she later returned in 1999 revamping herself as a businesswoman who sparked up a relationship with Pat Butcher’s son Barry Evans.

She featured in some of the most iconic scenes the show had ever seen, such as the famous joint wedding to Barry on New Year’s Eve alongside Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) and Mel Healy (Tamzin Outhwaite).

After husband Barry had been murdered by the notorious Janine Butcher (Charlie Brooks), Natalie fought tirelessly to put her arch enemy behind bars.
