Emmerdale spoilers: Kerry returns as Charity and Mack find themselves in grave danger

Emmerdale favourite Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton) makes an explosive return to the village next week.

Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and her toyboy lover Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) head off to rob Chloe Harris’ (Jessie Elland) house in upcoming scenes.

When they arrive, Mack’s wowed by the opulence of the property.

After clearing a display case of watches, they encounter a maid cleaning. Charity is taken aback to realise it is Kerry.

When Chloe comes home unexpectedly, Kerry covers for Charity and Mack and says that Charity wants to speak to Chloe’s mum or dad, but the young girl is awkward around the subject.

After Chloe leaves, Kerry warns Charity and Mack to not mention they have seen her and to stay away in the future.

Before they leave, she forces them to hand over their ill-gotten gains. Once home to Emmerdale, Mack reveals he has kept a watch.

Kerry warns Chloe her father won’t want her keeping in contact with Noah Tate and Sarah Sugden and the youngster is torn about what to do.

Things take a dramatic turn when Kerry receives a message from Chloe’s dad saying that one of his watches is missing.

In the village, a mysterious figure is watching from a parked car.

Who is watching Charity and Mackenzie, have they just invited trouble into their lives?

Actress Laura Norton, who has played Kerry since 2012, departed Emmerdale last year after announcing that she and her former co-star partner Mark Jordon were expecting a child together.

The couple welcomed baby boy Jesse in January this year.

Kerry was last seen on our screen when Dan Spencer was rushed into hospital after having a severe allergic reaction.

In the aftermath of the accident, Kerry stepped in to help out with his young daughter Amelia but it was soon revealed Kerry had left the village seemingly with a friend.

Elsewhere in the village next week, Charles convinces Kim to hold a memorial service for Andrea to help Millie with her bereavement.

Gabby’s worried when Kim says the memorial might bring Jamie back.

As Andrea’s memorial commences, Will’s sad to watch Kim waiting for Jamie to show up with her gaze fixed on the road outside the church.

Kim’s excitement grows to see a late arriving car but it’s Hazel, Andrea’s mum.

When the service draws to a close, Hazel has a revelation which shocks Kim.

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm on ITV with an extra helping on Thursdays at 8pm
