Friends' Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer 'together' after 20-year friendship

Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer are finally an item after 20 years of “buried feelings”, according to recent reports.

The actress, 52, and the actor, 54, who are best known for their roles on Friends as Rachel Green and Ross Geller are believed to be together in real life.

Ever since the pair came together for the long-awaited reunion show, fans in their masses have been hoping for them to become lovers – much like their characters on the iconic sitcom.

As they came together to reminisce about the programme, it came to light that there may have been some truths played out on-screen.

Jen and David admitted in the bombshell interview, they’d both had “crushes” on each other but nothing ever manifested because they were never single at the same time.

Now that the long-terms pals are finally on the market, it appears they’re making up for lost time if reports are to be believed.

A source claimed to Closer that Jennifer and David have been secretly dating ever since the 25th anniversary special.

The source claimed: “After the reunion, it became clear that reminiscing over the past had stirred up feelings for both of them and that chemistry they’d always had to bury was still there.

“They began texting immediately after filming and, just last month, David flew from his home in New York to see Jen in LA.

“They’ve been spending time at Jen’s home, where she’s cooked dinners in the evenings, and have enjoyed quality time together, chatting and laughing.”

The source also claimed that they have been seen sipping wine in a Santa Barbara vineyard which happens to be one of Jen’s favourite.

Reunion host James Corden was the person to out the fact that there had been a deeper connection between the two stars during their time on Friends.

He was flabbergasted that none of the cast had ever secretly got together when Matt LeBlanc – who played Joey Tribbiani – subtly dropped a hint that there may have been some flirting going on.

It was at this point that David came clean, admitting: “I had a major crush on Jen,” who responded: “It was reciprocated.”
