GB News mocked by viewers as hosts oblivious to comedian baring bum live on-air

GB News hasn’t been having the steadiest start – from trolls calling in with X-rated names to various technical blunders.

But it appears another trolling attempt has slipped through the net, as comedian Adam Pacitti appeared on Dan Wootton’s show to ask the hosts a question about comedy.

While chatting to Laurence Fox live on-air, who had joined host Dan Wootton for a public Q&A, Adam had subtly arranged his mirror reflection to show his bare bum.

While holding the camera to his face, hosts seemed unaware that the comedian was only wearing a t-shirt, leaving his bottom exposed for the viewers at home.

Speaking via video chat, Adam’s question seemed rather innocent, as he said: “Hello. I am a great fan of your work and also a great fan of comedy.

The comedian had artfully arranged himself for the camera

“I am a man that loves to laugh. I am of the belief that either one can joke about everything or nothing at all because somebody will always be offended by a joke.

“What are your thoughts on that?”

Though the studio hosts seemed rather oblivious to Adam’s state of undress, the same couldn’t be said for the at-home audience, who flocked to social media in droves to point out the hilarious blunder.

One penned: “@GBNEWS you do realise that guy had his ar** out? Check the reflection in the mirror!”

Adam himself even retweeted the segment

Another chipped in: “This cheeky scamp ‘Adam’ – gets his bare bum out and moons #GBNews viewers. Excellent. This channel just keeps giving.”

And a third echoed: “Did no one notice the guy had his bum out in the mirror on that first video question for Laurence Fox? Haha. Loving the channel by the way!”

“Very subtle mooning from Adam, asking a question to Laurence Fox on Dan Wootton’s GB News show!” another giggled with a cry-laughing emoji.

Any doubts about the intentional nature of the mooning appeared to be scrapped, as Adam was quick to jump on the Twitter bandwagon himself, retweeting a clip of the segment and adding the caption: “A solid night’s work.”

Laurence Fox had appeared on the show to answer viewer questions

It comes shortly after GB News presenter Simon McCoy, who ditched the BBC in favour of the new channel, told “idiot” trolls to “grow up” after an X-rated prank slipped through the net.

Naughty viewers had called into the show with some rather suspicious names, including ‘Mike Hunt’ and ‘Mike Oxlong’, which, when read out, are rather NSFW.

But Simon had had enough of the jokes, and addressed viewers directly on the show: “I’m just going to say something because if you’ve seen the papers, if you’ve seen Twitter, some people think it’s really funny to send in texts and messages on the basis that if we read them out we’ve been had.

Like what you see? Then fill your boots…

“And you’re still doing it, and I’m watching them, and it doesn’t help anybody.

“Well… to the person that’s just messaged in… grow up!” he ordered.

He went on to brand them “idiots”, adding: “We’re a new company, we’re a new broadcaster, there are systems that we’re putting in place that would stop idiots like you getting through.

“They’re getting through at the minute but… please? We’ve got other things to worry about.”
