Gordon Ramsay 'brought to tears' as bitter 20-year Marco Pierre White feud finally ends

Gordon Ramsay and Marco Pierre White’s famous feud has come to an end.

The two celebrity chefs have called it quits on their showbiz ‘beef’, leaving Gordon teary-eyed.

He admitted that the visit from his former enemy “brought a tear to his eye” as he came to one of his London restaurants.

Posting a snap of Marco, 59, holding up a Gordon Ramsay Street Burger takeaway bag, he captioned it: “So good when the Great White pops in for a burger’’, with the hashtag “broughtateartomyeye’’.

The dad-of-five told his 12.9m Instagram followers who went wild for the shot, with many flocking to the comment section to revel in the news.

Piers Morgan even got involved and wrote: “Love this…like two Dons reuniting after the war…”

While one fan said: “This is the dude that made Gordon cry”.

A second added: “Has hell frozen over?”

Another follower penned: “Yous two deserve a friendship, life is too short for resentment.”

Gordon became famous for his angry outbursts and hit shows like The F-Word and Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.

But in his younger chef days, he got a taste of his own medicine when Pierre White went mad and reduced Gordon to a “bubbling wreck”.

The drama took place at Pierre White’s Harveys restaurant, in London, when Gordon was just 20-years-old.

Pierre White told The Independent in 2006: “I don’t recall what he’d done wrong but I yelled at him and he lost it.

“Gordon crouched down in the corner of the kitchen, buried his head in his hands and started sobbing.”

But the straw that supposedly broke the camel’s back in their aggy relationship was when Gordon turned up to Marco’s wedding with a camera crew.

This comes after Gordon had issued his Strictly star daughter Tilly with some stern advice earlier this week.

In an exclusive interview with Hello, Tilly, 19, revealed what advice her famous dad had for her in regards to her dancing show career.

She told the publication: “His advice to me when I started Strictly was to work hard, have fun and put my everything into it because it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity.”
