Holly Willoughby shares rare sweet snap of youngest son Chester to mark birthday

Holly Willoughby has shared a rare photo of her youngest son online as she celebrated his birthday.

The This Morning presenter uploaded a picture of Chester drawing a heart in the sand as he turned seven on Thursday.

The image – taken from behind so as not to show his face – sees her little boy wearing a cream baseball cap teamed with a white t-shirt and shorts as he kneels in the golden sand pushing his handprint into the heart shape.

Holly, 40, proudly displayed her love for the youngest of her three children as she wished him a happy birthday in the caption.

She wrote: “Happy birthday beautiful boy… We love you Chester #lucky7.”

Holly and husband Dan Baldwin also share son Harry, 12, and nine-year-old daughter Belle.

The couple have joined an array of celebrities who choose to keep their children’s faces private, only posting images on social media which do not identify them facially.

Back in March Holly confessed why it is she chooses to keep their features private from the public, admitting she backs Meghan Markle’s stance on having some degree of privacy.

Holly Willoughby admits privacy is important to her when it comes to her children

She said: “I think everyone has a basic right to privacy. Basic.

“There’s no one who’s on Instagram or social media that would say: ‘Because I shared this one picture, that entitles you to have my entire camera roll. Go ahead and look through it.’

“No one would want that. So it’s about boundaries. And it’s about respect.”

Holly – who has over 7.3 million followers on Instagram – then confirmed that she purposely conceals the identity of her children to protect them from the spotlight.

She added: “I choose not to show my children’s faces because I know that’s the deal. If you show one photograph then they’re out there. They’re for consumption for everybody. Which is why I choose not to do it.”

Chester is the youngest of Holly’s three children

The fashion and beauty icon recently launched her own wellness brand, Wylde Moon.

She explained: “When I went to Australia to do ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! ’, I suddenly had three weeks without my children and for the first time in a long time, I didn’t really know what to do with myself.

“Australia is the land of alternative therapies, and the town that I was in truly had all kinds of things for all kinds of people.”
