I'm A Celebrity's Naughty Boy reveals major weight loss after rice and beans diet

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Naughty Boy has revealed that he lost over 1.5 stone while taking part in the show.

He was the fourth to be booted off the popular celebrity gameshow that’s currently taking place in Gwrych Castle in Wales.

Chatting to Lorraine Kelly on her breakfast show the morning after he found out that he had been axed from the show, he was eager to tell the Scottish beauty his exciting news.

The 40-year-old music producer said to the host: “Breaking news – so when I went in there I was 94kg and I got weighed yesterday and I’m now 84.9kg.”

Touching upon how his trousers were constantly falling down while in the castle, Lorraine said: “Wow, that’s quite a lot – no wonder your trousers were falling down!”

Naughty Boy looked completely different when he exited the castle camp as the fourth evictee

Many celebrities who sign up for the popular show hosted by Ant and Dec are well aware that the restricted diet could lead to them dropping clothes sizes in as little as two weeks.

Back when the show was filmed in Australia the likes of Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s dad Stanley lost a whopping 1.5 stone, while Nick Knowles dropped 2.2 stone, and Rebekah Vardy lost 1 stone – all due to the restricted and limited diet that they had.

The music producer looked noticeably different when he first entered the Welsh castle

Mainly forced to eat rice and beans while camping out in the castle, Naughty Boy sneaked in some spices when he first entered – although he admitted it on the first night.

Involved in some cooking rows with fellow campmates, Naughty Boy told Lorraine: “I understand everyone has different kinds of rice, but I prefer the rice that is actually rice.

“It can be stodgy rice and peas [in the castle] – I just wanted to take it up a level.”

The music producer had arguments with The Saturdays star Frankie Bridge as well as Paralympian Kadeena Cox over the cooking situation while in the castle.

This comes as fans have been left picking up the phone “to Ofcom” after spotting what they believe is “race-fuelled” hatred towards the star who exited the show earlier this week.

A Marmite character, Naughty Boy has divided the opinions of viewers at home after he feuded with fellow campmates over food and threatened to leave on several occasions.

I’m A Celeb continues each night at 9pm on ITV.
