I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! star Matty Lee has given insight into how much he misses his diving partner Tom Daley and said it’s “more than he could know.”
Just before the popular ITV show kicked off, The Olympic divers took part in a fan Q&A session where they answered a series of questions for Tom’s audience on his Youtube channel.
But when the question came up on whether the Olympians missed each other while they were separated. Matty agreed that he certainly did.
Reading out the question from the fan, Tom asked: “Does Matty miss having his work husband training?”

Matty responded: “I do actually, a lot. Probably more than Tom even knows.
He continued: “We speak and see each other every day, pretty much. Even on the weekends when we weren’t training we will see each other.
“Now I got to be what Tom was to me to the younger athletes and I kind of like that responsibility.”

Tom and Matty made history earlier this year when they won gold at the Tokyo Olympic Games for their synchronised 10m dive.
The sports duo who first started trainig together in 2018 had the nation hooked when they gave a spectacular performance during the event.
Now that Matty has entered the I’m A Celeb castle, Tom will have to wait for a few weeks before he’s reunited with his pal.

Matty previously spoke openly to Leeds Live about the time he told Tom about his stint on I’m A Celeb.
The young lad said: “When I told Tom, he was in shock too! He is so excited for me and he has always been so supportive and helped me a lot over the past three years. He gives me advice about anything whether it is relationships or whatever – I always ask Tom.”

He added: “Everyone knows who Tom Daley is but people don’t necessarily know who I am.
“But without each other, we would never have achieved what we have achieved. He always gives me credit where it is due and I also do too. He is really happy for me to grow as an individual and I think it is a chance for people to get to know me better.”
