Inside Ant McPartlin’s ‘dwindling’ £20million net worth

Saturday Night Takeaway returns to our screens tonight with the nation’s favourite presenting duo at the helm.

That means Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly will be back on our screens every single weekend.

The dynamic duo have been entertaining the nation for three decades since they first appeared on Byker Grove in 1989.

Through their incredible career they have amassed an eye-watering amount of money.

But like any partnership, they have dealt with their fair share of ups and downs – and Ant’s net worth has been dwindling in recent years.

In March 2018 Ant was arrested after he was involved in a car accident, and was found to be over the drink-driving limit. He was subsequently given a 20-month driving ban, and fined £86,000 after pleading guilty to drink driving.

The 45-year-old also went through a divorce with his former wife Lisa Armstrong in 2018, where he reportedly handed over £31million – the biggest divorce settlement involving a UK celebrity.

How much is Ant McPartlin’s net worth?

Even taking the massive financial blows into account, Ant still has a bigger net worth than most people.

After his divorce settlements, it was reported that Ant’s net worth is an estimated £20million.

This includes £9million in cash and £11million in investments.

As part of the divorce settlements it was almost reported he would keep the £5million home in West London.

Despite Ant’s problems, the dynamic duo remain the nation’s most-treasured presenting double act.

And it will no doubt not take too long until Ant has added to his dwindling net worth.

According to The Sun, Ant and Dec signed a £40million, three-year deal with ITV in 2019 for presenting shows such as Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, Saturday Night Takeaway and Ant and Dec’s DNA Journey.

However, according to The Sun, their deal could end up being worth £50million if they decide to extend the three-year agreement.

Their new deal would mean they earn a combined £3.3million a month from ITV.

Ant and Dec’s previous deal with ITV ran out in 2019, and was thought to be worth £30million.

Speaking at the time, the pair said: “We are absolutely delighted to be extending our relationship with ITV, to continue on the three shows we love as well as exploring further opportunities both in front of and behind the camera.”
