Tipping Point fans couldn’t help but swoon over the “scrummy” blonde contestant on Wednesday afternoon’s hit daytime show.
Good Morning Britain presenter Ben Shephard returned as the host of the arcade-themed show with the latest bunch of quiz heads who were battling it out to take home the hefty cash prize.
This week he was joined by Lucy, Chris, Teresa and Max, but viewers admitted they were struggling to concentrate during the show as blonde bombshell Lucy caught the eyes of ITV viewers.
The Brummy lass received a warm welcome on the show as fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the beautiful contestant.
One user wrote: “Hard to concentrate on the questions when Lucy is just so scrummy.”
While another added: “Helloooooooo, Lucy,” with heart eyes emojis.
A third chimed in with: “Wow Lucy” as another fan cheered her on with: “C’mon Lucy do us Brummies proud.”
But fans were sorely disappointed when Lucy dropped out in the first round after she struggled to get a single question right.
And it was the final question of the round that proved to be the nail in the coffin as Lucy incorrectly answered the question: “How many people are in a quintet?”
Panicked by the countdown clock, she blurted out “six” to which she immediately appeared disappointed when Ben corrected her.
Devastated at her short time on the show, viewers shared their upset online as the blonde beauty left the show in the first round.
One viewer wrote: “Ffs Lucy I was rooting for you!” while another added: “Taxi for Lucy who didn’t have a lovely day.”
A third fumed: “You’re kidding, Lucy” while a fourth fan added: “Lucy, you’ve done enough.”
This comes after Ben joked he’d help his Good Morning Britain colleague get on the show after he announced his shocking departure.
The 46-year-old revealed he was leaving the programme at the end of the year after 13 years on the hit daytime quiz show.
Ben has been the presenter for the show since it first aired in 2012 and it’s fair to say fans are devastated to see the father-of-two leave.
Tipping Point continues on ITV1 on weekdays at 4pm.
