Katie Price says children 'saved her life' after she battled suicidal thoughts

Katie Price has thanked her children for keeping her alive after she battled suicidal thoughts last year.

The 42-year-old reality television star and former glamour model said that she felt suicidal last year, but the thought of her kids crying over her death stopped her from ending her life.

Katie thanked her beloved children Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, Princess, 13, Jett, seven, and Bunny, six, on Mother’s Day, saying she wouldn’t be alive without them.

Speaking to The Sun, the media star said in an emotional admission: “I can’t imagine not being a mum – it’s what I live for. My kids basically saved my life, to be honest.

“I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them.”

Katie said that when she contemplated suicide, she would think of her children’s faces and it would stop her.

She continued: “I used to think of their faces going ‘no mum’ and I would picture them crying if I was no longer around for them.”

She candidly confessed that if it wasn’t for her children, she wouldn’t be here today.

Katie recently revealed she would like to have four more children “before it’s too late”.

Price, who has been openly documenting her journey of trying to get pregnant on her social media, is currently trying for a baby with her Love Island star boyfriend Carl Woods.

Carl, 32, has also been very open about how he wants to have a family of his own with Katie.

Katie told The Sun: “I’m not pregnant yet. I’ve just put on lockdown weight. But I do want more babies.

“Mine are getting older so I need to keep replacing them! I love being a mum.”

Katie, who has had four caesarean sections, added: “If I could, I’d definitely like another four kids. I might be able to, but my age isn’t helping.

“Realistically, I’m hoping to have another two. The next will be very special.”
